If you are new to SFGSL, please complete the New Player Form so we can assist in placing you on a team. Team registration is now closed but there are still a few teams looking for players mostly in the Women's Division. Teams can add players to their rosters until April 19th.
The league plays from March until July on Sundays and occasional Saturdays in San Francisco. Games are played between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Player membership is $65. Associate fee is $30. There is a team fee of $475 which is usually covered by a team sponsor although some teams are self-sponsored. The SFGSL is divided into two divisions, the Open Division (Co-Ed) and the Women's Division. Each division is broken down into A, B, C, D level teams. There are over 800 members in the SFGSL combining for 50+ teams each season.
The league is a member of NAGAAA association for the Open Division and ASANA association for the Women's Division. NAGAAA and ASANA endorse many tournaments in cities around the country all year long. Every year the SFGSL league hosts the Golden Bear Classic on Memorial Day Weekend.
We always need volunteers to help run events. Our league budget relies heavily on these fundraisers to succeed as a league. Help keep player fees down while meeting new people and volunteer for a fundraising event! View Events

Please be sure to read the specific ASA rules surrounding bats for a comphrehensive review. Remember that all bats that do not bear an ASA certification mark remain non approved unless they were made prior to 2000 and in the sole discretion of the umpire would pass ASA certification test if tested.
Check the ASA site to make sure your bat is legal for play in the SFGSL. You may also download a list of non-approved bats that carry the certification mark.
