Competition Details
Team Competition
- 3 or more people. Come ready and prepared. Props are ok. NO
GLITTER. Theme does not have to dictate what you perform. Be creative
and fun. Performances cannot be longer than 7 minutes.
Switchitter Competition
- Switchhitters are no longer required to "switch hit" at the venue.
Come ready to perform in makeup, etc. Any Drag is welcome; queen, king,
faux or whatever you feel represents your idea of what switchhitting
is. Be creative and fun. Backstage will be available to dress before
your performance. Please be on time and follow instructions from the
backstage manager. Number should be no longer than 7 minutes.
You will need a representative from your team to represent you for a small interview prior to performing.
All performances DO NOT have to adhere to the theme. Judging is not based on theme application, judging is based on LipSync and Originality/Creativity.
Prize money is 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100, and 3rd Place $75. Prize money must be picked up that evening. If not picked up that evening, then they will lose their winnings.
Food and beverages will be offered at the event.
Music for performances: Please email your music to spy415north@gmail.com by June 10th at 5pm. Please do not come wanting to use your phone as the instrument of playback for the venue's audio system.
